Boyer Valley Junior High Cross Country Conference Champions celebrate their victory with pizza and ice cream.


Our student of the week for October 7-11 was Loren Terwilleger. Loren was recognized for being patient with her table partner and working hard in class. Congratulations, Loren!

The Kindergarten classes completed their Alphabet Adventure and paraded around the school to show off their learning!







Boyer Valley 4th Graders had a special visitor today. Grace Reineke, the owner of Mill Creek Flower Farm, led a science lab on dissecting flowers. She also talked about her business and the process of growing her flowers and plants.

Tonight is Senior Night for Football, Cross Country, Band, Cheer, and Drill Team.
Seniors and Parents/Guardians are asked to meet at the gate on the north end of the bleachers at 6:30. Announcements of seniors in alphabetical order will begin at 6:40.

We had a tie for student of the week for the week of October 1-4. Josh C was nominated for helping load and unload hay bales on the homecoming float. Emma Wray was nominated for always giving it her all and trying her best. Congratulations Josh and Emma!

Monarch update: we have chrysalises! Many students in the building also visited Ms. Megan's room to see the critters in all different stages and learn about their life cycle and migration! Do you see anyone you know?! Ask them what they learned about monarch butterflies! BUTTERFLIES COMING SOON!

We are excited to announce that the Boyer Valley Girls Basketball team will be participating in the 1st Annual Alden Berkenpas Scholarship Classic on Saturday, January 11th @ MVAOCOU High School! The girls game vs West Monona has been rescheduled to allow us to participate in this event. Stay tuned for more details.


Noah Heffernan was our student of the week for September 23-27. Noah was recognized by several teachers for being a hard worker.

What's happening in our preschool today? These two entertainers put on an excellent puppet show! This was a fun and creative learning center. Great job by the students and Ms. Preul!



The three-year-old preschoolers were busy learning about fire safety, and the firefighters were all having fun in the fire truck. Thanks, Mrs. Lehan.
