We are excited to host our Veterans Day ceremony Tuesday morning at 9:00am in the Boyer Valley HS West (New) Gym! Our guest speaker will be Jack Ahart.
All veterans and their guests are welcome to attend and then join us for refreshments immediately following the ceremony.

We have a lot going on this week at Boyer Valley. Our Veteran's Day celebration will kick off at 9:00am on Tuesday. Thursday will begin our junior high boys basketball season with a home game in Dow City. Please join us Friday night for our Prom fundraiser. Saturday our drama students will debut their talents at 2:00, followed by another show at 7pm, and a final show on Sunday at 2:00. Please join us at some of our numerous events this week.

Brody Koski is our student of the week. Brody Koski was nominated by two teachers for including a 6th grade student into his Halloween duo group because the student didn't have a partner. Way to show Bulldog Pride, Brody!

Harper Christiansen was chosen as the IGAHSAU student athlete advisor. The volleyball event that she was chosen to attend is a school sponsored event. Volleyball is an area in which she thrived in during the season. She was awarded the honor to go sell tickets and hand out the trophies at the State volleyball tournament in Cedar Rapids. .She is very excited and is willing to take on this opportunity like a champ. Congratulations, Harper!

The Boyer Valley Choir group left the school at 8:30am and arrived at Glidden Rolston around 9. We were greeted at the door by a few of the students from the school, and we were quickly ushered to start warming up. We practiced around 6 songs throughout the day – a token favorite being "I Believe" which had a few of our very own students with solos-- Hazel Gilflores, Harper Christiansen, and Jazmin Palmer. Everyone had a great attitude throughout the day, and said that they all had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came and watched our students do what they love, and we hope to see you at the next RVC Festival! --Student Reporter

Reminder that tomorrow night we'll be hosting the HS Fall Sports Banquet for Volleyball, Cross Country, and Football in the East (Old) Gym at 7:00.
Also tomorrow at 6:15 there will be a High School Basketball parent meetings, Boys BB in the Ag Room, Girls BB in the West (New) Gym.

Cash Mueller is our student of the week. Cash has taken on a leadership role in the classroom. One day I had a meeting during middle school lunch that ran over into homeroom. When I got to homeroom, Cash had everyone in their seats and filling out their grade check sheets. He also redirects peer behavior and encourages others to work hard and be kind. Congratulations, Cash!!!
