
The Boyer Valley School District sent out direct certification letters to families who were directly certified for free or reduced meals for the 2024-2025 school year. If you did not receive a letter and feel you may qualify for free or reduced priced school meals, please go to boyervalley.org and review the information under the "Food Service" section.

Mr. Conover (our new professional school counselor) will be out of office until Monday, August 19th. Schedules will NOT be changed in PowerSchool until the first day of classes. Students wishing to discuss their schedules may email Mr. Conover with questions (cconover@boyervalley.org).
Iowa Western classes begin on Monday, August 19th. Please make sure you have logged in before this date. If you have any questions or issues with your course, contact Mr. Conover immediately. The drop date for online IWCC courses is September 2nd.

For students enrolled in IWCC courses for the fall semester. Today at 2 pm, IWCC representatives will be on site to help students ensure all students can log in and access the materials for the courses that start next Monday. The meeting will take place in the HS Lunchroom.

There will be basketball open gym this Sunday from 6:00-7:00 PM for boys and girls.

Join us on Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00-7:30pm for our Open House night! Both the Dunlap and Dow City buildings will be open for families to drop off their school supplies and meet their new teachers.
6th Grade Orientation will also take place on this night at 6:30pm. They will meet in the MS/HS Commons.

Returning families can complete registration online through their PowerSchool account.
There will be no in-person registration at the school this year. All issues regarding PowerSchool should be sent to powerschool@boyervalley.org



School starts August 23rd - don't forget to get your school supplies!

Also, mark your calendars for our PK-12 "Open House" on the evening of Tuesday, August 20th (time currently TBA).



There will be no weightlifting Wednesday - Friday this week. Boys and Girls grades 7-12 will have open gym for basketball Thursday 8-9 am.
Next week is Family Week! No school events.

August 5th - 7th from 8-9:30 am there will be a volleyball camp for 7th-12th grade students. Contact Coach Neilsen for more information.

The registration portals work best on a desktop or laptop computer. If you have errors with the forms please try swapping to a different type of device first. Don’t forget that we have fantastic public libraries in our school district that are free for the public to use!

Today's baseball gave vs Newell-Fonda at Woodbury Central, Moville has been moved to a 1:00 start due to predicted weather for this evening. Team will leave at 11:00 from the field. Team batting practice will be at 10:00.

Softball vs Logan-Magnolia tonight is cancelled. There will not be a make-up date set.

In recognition of the 4th of July there will be no weights or open gyms Thurs 7/4 through Sun 7/7. Normal schedule will resume on Monday, July 8th. Enjoy the holiday & use caution when handling fireworks.
