On Friday 6/28 baseball will finish their weather canceled game vs CAM starting at 5:00, then play the regularly scheduled game.
Senior night for softball & baseball will be this Friday, 6/28. Softball will recognize seniors before the varsity game and baseball's seniors will be recognized between games.
Varsity baseball will play first tonight at 5:30, due to predicted weather. JV will follow if the weather holds out.
Postseason baseball brackets have been released. We'll play Newell-Fonda on Saturday, July 6th @ 5:00 at Woodbury Central HS in Moville. #OnwardBV
We have a limited amount of baseball hats available for purchase. Hats are $30, checks can be made out to the BV Booster Club. The only size available is Adult L/XL stretch fit. They will be in the concession stand at the next few home baseball games if you're interested.
No JH/HS football open gym Monday at 8 am.

Basketball open gym times this Sunday will be:
4:00-5:00: JH & HS boys
5:00-6:00: JH & HS girls
Due to changes in the 2024 Iowa Legislative Session, the new deadlines for open enrollment are below.
For this upcoming school year, if a parent/guardian wishes to open enroll their student to another school district, the paperwork needs to be completed and turned in by June 30, 2024.
For the 2025-2026 school year the deadline for open enrollment is March 1, 2025.
If you are currently open enrolled to a school district, no paperwork is needed. If you wish to or have plans to open enroll to a school district the paperwork must be completed by June 30th for the 2024-2025 school year.
If you have questions you can contact your current school district or the district you wish your child to attend. Forms can be found online or at any school office.
There will be no JV games tonight at Onawa due to the predicted weather for this afternoon/early evening. We will play varsity only for both baseball & softball starting at 7:00 PM tonight.
Then there will be no JV softball on Friday 6/7 @ Glidden, varsity softball will start at 5:00 PM. Baseball will be as originally scheduled with JV @ 5:30 and varsity to follow.
The JV baseball game @ West Monona tomorrow, 6/4, will only be 3 innings, still starting at 5:30. Varsity will follow and is expected to start about 7:00.
There is no basketball open gym tonight. Starting next week and going forward JH & HS girls basketball will have open gym from 5-6 and JH & HS boys will be from 6-7. HS volleyball will have open gyms at 6:30.

Congratulations to Jasmin Bald and Liliana Perry for a successful performance at the IHSMTA Showcase at the Des Moines Civic Center last night! They participated in the Finale Medley, an inter-school collaborative performance that featured performers from many Iowa school districts.
The showcase was a culmination of a year long program that promotes excellence in musical theatre. Boyer Valley participated in clinics, received feedback on their March performance of CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION, and participated in last night's showcase along with 102 other Iowa schools.
Jasmin and Liliana were also awarded additional honors for their roles of Velma Kelly and Matron Mama Morton. Congratulations to all!
Softball at Griswold is still on for tonight. We've been keeping an eye on the weather and looks like it's been pushed back enough to get the game in. Varsity will now be playing first at 5:30 though.
On June 5th at the Woodbine/BV HS softball and HS baseball games Building Blocks Academy will be hosting a free-will donation fundraiser meal at the CREW center. Goodfellows will be serving a pulled pork meal.
